Standard Agreement – General Terms and Conditions
Document Summary
What? This rule sets out the baseline standard general terms and conditions to be used across Sub-Markets in scope. How? It establishes the baseline contractual terms to be used by System Operators in their flexibility service agreements. System Operators may depart from those baseline terms, but only where any such deviation is recorded in the Standard Agreement Alignment and Deviation Register. Who? This rule impacts System Operators in respect of the Sub-Markets to which it applies, and in turn the Flexibility Service Providers participating in those Sub-Markets. When? This rule comes into force on the Implementation Date. Why? This rule aims to standardise contractual terms across Sub-Markets, reduce legal complexity and cost, promote transparency and fairness, and support faster access to flexibility markets.
